Aaron Fisher
As a full-time corporate event entertainer based in Los Angeles, I love thrilling audiences with my original magic. Next to that, helping other magicians improve is the best part of my job.
To that end, for the past seven years — ever since Hermetic Press published my first book, The Paper Engine, in 2002 — I’ve spent part of each year teaching magicians all over the world how to get better at what they do. Through my private coaching and seminars, I work with students at all levels — including, every summer, the campers at Sorcerer’s Safari Magic Summer Camp in Ontario, Canada (who are among my very favorite students to teach!).
All of these different kinds of students have in turn taught me; specifically, lessons about what they need to succeed. And I use those lessons in every one of my products: DVDs and tricks that get powerful results for you and your customers, by meeting three specific objectives:
Powerful Effects/Easy to Learn We all know there really is no such thing as a self- working trick. Even so, it’s important that a student be able to start using a trick as soon as possible after he acquires it, so that he can gain confidence by building on continual performances. You and your customers will be able to perform most of my tricks shortly after watching the DVD.
Real value for every skill level Whether your customers love cards or can barely hold them, my tricks and DVDs will empower them, encourage them, and make them better magicians. Don’t take my word for it: just watch my first Murphy’s release, Search and Destroy featuring the Nowhere Pass, and you’ll see exactly what I mean.
Not just a DVD; an intimate learning experience Magicians travel from all over the world to meet me for private training, because genuine student/teacher relationships remain the very best way to learn. That’s why each and every one of my DVDs is designed to create the experience of an actual private lesson. Your customers will learn how to do the trick, but that’s just the beginning. They’ll also learn the larger context of the trick: stories and anecdotes about its origins and development; how to set it up, and also how to clean it up; and, most importantly, everything that could possibly go wrong, and what to do if it does. When your customers watch one of my DVDs, they can relax and learn the trick, because they know I’ll be there with them every step of the way.
Finally, my DVDs are fun to watch, and my tricks are fun to play with and perform. I invite you to watch the tricks and try them yourself. I think you’ll agree!
With thanks, Aaron Fisher
